you can export or delete your data at any time from your profile settings.

we use cookies in the browser so you don't have to sign in each time you visit the site. we set a timezone cookie to know what "today" means in your logs. additionally, we store your theme preference (light/dark/system mode).

analytics

we use vercel analytics and speed insights to understand how people use our site. vercel analytics collects anonymous usage data without setting cookies on your browser.

ai calorie suggestions

should you opt-in to using ai calorie suggestions, we use anthropic's claude to suggest calories for your meals. we don't pass any identifiable information about you to anthropic, just the name and description you write for the meal. for more on how anthropic handles data, refer to anthropic's privacy policy

lifetime purchases

on the web, we use stripe for one-time lifetime payments. stripe stores payment and invoice details for your purchase, including your email. we store the stripe invoice id on your profile so we can link your purchase and let you view the invoice. on ios, purchases are processed by apple through storekit; we store your purchase status and apple transaction id on your profile. payment details are handled by apple.
